About Me





Ann-Marie Miglionico is a Licensed Psychotherapist specializing in individual, couples and family therapy, and maintains a private practice in Lake Nona, Florida utilizing techniques of cognitive behavioral therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, (EMDR).

With over 5 years experience as a child, adolescent and family therapist; 16 years working in the mental health field, and as a graduate of the University of Central Florida specializing in social work, she is currently serving as a private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among her areas of expertise are working with adolescents and families to rebuild them as a whole.

In addition to being a prominent relationship therapist, Ann-Marie has an extensive background working in partnership with the Department of Children and Families and local child welfare agencies to include the Department of Juvenile Justice. 


Ann-Marie is an interactive, solution-focused therapist. Her therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.


Education

Ann-Marie attended the University of Central Florida where she received a Master's degree in Social Work.  She obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Human Relations at St. Joseph's College in Patchogue, New York. 

License, Certifications & Awards

Ann-Marie is currently Licensed in the State of Florida as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
She also holds a certification as an Adoption Competency Trained Therapist as well as holds certifications as a  Child Welfare Case Manager and Child Protective Investigator.
